About Our Company
Hochuen Medical is a leading OEM manufacturer for disposables & devices for medical (IVD and POCT), life science, DNA sequencing, organ-on-a-chip, drug delivery, veterinary diagnostics, surgery, and medical wearable. We provide turnkey services for medical and life science customers and provide support from the R&D and prototyping phases to low and high volume OEM manufacturing on microfluidic chips and biomedical consumables.
Hochuen Medical is FDA registered and ISO 13485 certified. Our manufacturing sites consist of class 10k-100k cleanrooms and a GMP facility. Hochuen Medical is based in Los Angeles, CA, USA and has an office in Singapore and manufacturing sites in Malaysia (JB) and China (Shenzhen and Dongguan).

Eric Zeng, CEO
Eric Zeng is an experienced business leader who grew the parent company Hochuen Technology into one of the top companies in Longhua district in Shenzhen. Hochuen has become one of the largest OEM/ODM manufacturers in China and our customer list includes many Fortune 500 companies, such as Apple, Google, Samsung, Huawei, FOXCONN, etc.

Robin Liu, Ph.D., Chairman & President
Dr. Liu co-founded Hochuen Medical. He is a renowned expert with almost 25 years’ industrial experience in medical IVD and microfluidics. He received his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. Prior to Hochuen, Dr. Liu held various management positions at Beckman Coulter, GenMark Diagnostics, Combimatrix, Motorola, etc. He is the author of two books in microfluidics and DNA microarrays and published 30 peer-reviewed papers in journals such as Nature and PNAS.

Nancy Yan Gao, Ph.D., Vice President
Dr. Gao is an expert in microfluidics and DNA sequencing. She was admitted into the Shenzhen Overseas High Level Talent Program (Peacock plan). Prior to Hochuen, Dr. Gao was the Director of Chemistry Dept. at Direct Genomics. Dr. Gao received her Ph.D. degree from the Chinese Academy of Science with a research focus on microfluidics under Prof. Bingcheng Lin. She later worked as a Postdoc research fellow in Prof. Aaron Wheeler’s lab at University of Toronto.

Vick Liu, Vice President, Intl Sales & Operations
Vick is VP, Intl Operations and Sales at Hochuen. Prior to Hochuen, he worked at Scale AI, HCL, MIT Solve, Booz Allen Hamilton, and The White House (Office of Science and Technology Policy). He is an author of a book, a mini documentary producer, and a TEDx speaker. He has received numerous awards including the “Heroes Among Us” by the Boston Celtics (NBA team). He received his BS degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Prof. David J. Beebe
David J. Beebe is the Claude Bernard Professor of Biomedical Engineering at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He is the recipient of the IEEE EMBS Early Career Achievement Award and Pioneers of Miniaturization Prize, and is a Fellow of the American Institute for Medical and Biological Engineering. He was a founding Scientific Editor of Integrative Biology. He has published more than 225 journal articles with more than 25,000 citations (h-index of 72). He has co-founded several biotechnology companies. He has received over $30 million in funding (as PI) for his research from NIH, NSF, USDA, DARPA, DOD, DHS, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, etc.

Prof. Abraham Lee
Abraham (Abe) P. Lee is the William J. Link Professor and Chair of the Biomedical Engineering (BME) Department at the University of California, Irvine. He started his appointment as Editor-in-Chief for the Lab on a Chip journal in January 2017. He owns more than 40 issued US patents and has published more than 100 journal articles and awarded the 2009 Pioneers of Miniaturization Prize and is an elected fellow of the American Institute of and Medical and Biological Engineering and the American Society of Mechanical Engineers.

Prof. Bingcheng Lin
Dr. Bingcheng Lin is the professor of Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences (DICP, CAS) and the professor of Dalian University of Technology. He is also the Fellow of the Royal Society of Chemistry, UK. The research of Dr. Lin is focusing on microfluidics and its application, including chip and 3D bio print based mimic organ, point of care technology, and single cell analysis. Prof. Lin is the author or co-author of around 350 peer-reviewed scientific papers, 7 books with Chinese, and 6 book or special issues with English, and the holder of several tens patents.

Dr. Kilian Dill
Dr. Kilian Dill is Vice President of Biochemistry at Multerra Bio in USA. He is a renowned expert with 40 years’ experience in medical IVD, bio-sensors, biochemistry, immunoassays, and nanotechnology. He received his Ph.D. in Chemical Biology from California Institute of Technology. He was a professor at Clemson University, before he held various senior management positions at Molecular Devices, CombiMatrix, Antara Bioscience, and Stemgenics Inc. He received a National Research Council Senior Resident Award. His most recent focus is on nanopores and force spectroscopy via electronic detection. Dr. Dill’s work has resulted in 5 patents. He has published about 130 peer-reviewed journal papers, books, and book chapters.
